I would like some taco meat or beef fajita recipes from around the area of Nuevo Laredo.?

I want to know what seasonings to use for beef fajitas, tacos, burritos and soups. I like the flavor of the foods I have tasted that come from the Nuevo Laredo area. Also I need a good hot sauce recipe to put on these foods.I would like some taco meat or beef fajita recipes from around the area of Nuevo Laredo.?
Ooohhhh. Tacos. My favorite.





Basic taco seasoning recipe. You may want to adjust a little for your own taste.





1 tablespoon chili powder


1/4 teaspoon garlic powder


1/4 teaspoon onion powder


1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes


1/4 teaspoon dried oregano


1/2 teaspoon paprika


1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin


1 teaspoon sea salt


1 teaspoon black pepper

Yield: 1 Servings





Ingredients





8 6-8 inch flour tortilla


1 ts vegetable oil


1 lb sirloin flank or round


-steak; cut into thin strips


1 c slivered green or red


-peppers


1 md onion; thinly sliced


3/4 c salsa


1/2 ts cumin


1 assorted toppings





Instructions





Wrap tortillas in foil and place in large non-stick skillet over medium


heat for 5 minutes, turning once. Remove from skillet and turn heat to


high; add oil. Add beef; cook and stir about 2 minutes. Add peppers and


onion; cook, stir 3 minutes longer or until until tender. Stir in salsa and


cumin and heat through. Fill tortillas with beef mixture; sprinkle with


desired toppings and serve immediately.





Suggested toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa, cheddar cheese
