I love without marinara sauce.Do you have Italian recipes of Fried Sausage and peppers with meat sauce only?
I may be misunderstanding you..
Fried Sausage and peppers is just that..no sauce unless you add it.
Saute the Sausage. Remove from skillet. Add the onions and bell peppers to the skillet and saute them until they are as tender as you'd like them to be.. Serve on warm, crisp rolls..

You can fry the sausage, peppers and onions then pour in a little red wine and an 8 oz can of tomato sauce. Cook for about 20-30 minutes more
1 pkg. (9 oz.) refrigerated linguine
1-3/4 cups marinara sauce
1 pkg. (6 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Italian Style Chicken Breast Strips
1 slices pepper
COOK pasta as directed on package.
MEANWHILE, mix pepper, mix sauce and chicken breast strips in small saucepan. Cook on medium heat 4 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
DRAIN pasta; place in large serving bowl. Add chicken mixture; toss to coat.
TALIAN MEAT SAUCE
1 (28 oz.) can Italian tomatoes with basil, crushed
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) can tomato puree
1 (8 oz.) tomato paste
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1 lb. ground sirloin
1 lg. clove garlic
1/2 lg. green pepper (chopped)
1/2 onion (chopped)
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
Brown meat with onion and green pepper. Add rest of ingredients and simmer 2 hours.
SAUSAGE AND PEPPER STIR-FRY
1 (1 lb.) pkg. smoked sausage
1 lg. bell pepper, sliced in strips
3 tbsp. butter
Melt butter in skillet; add sausage and brown. Add strips of pepper and cook 20-30 minutes, stirring often.
