Game Meat Recipes??

Hi there! I was just wondering if anyone has any recipes for hunted meat, particularly moose meat. I usually just eat them in flank steak form but I used some in stir fry yesterday and the meat was soooo tasty and tender and I want to try other things.Game Meat Recipes??
One of my favorite easy stand bys is Venison Curry, and I bet moose would be the same- cube the meat, soak in milk overnight. Drain, and brown in hot oil or bacon fat. put in a crock pot and cover with a jar of trader joe's curry simmer sauce ( or the grocery store ones- in a jar or can) and cook all day. Add another jar of sauce 30 minutes before serving and serve with naan ( indian bread- available frozen at trader joe's)Game Meat Recipes??

You can substitute your moose meat, or any other venison, in most recipes. Braising is best for the less tender cuts, so make stew, chili, or sauerbratten from those. If you can find a copy of the L.L. Bean cookbook printed around 1960, it's FULL of great recipes. Mine is on loan or I'd share now!
why dont you just try putting it all in a pot woth gravy and stewing it. we had a rabbit and hare stew the other day it was lovely!
